Abstract

El sustantivo zasca procede de la onomatopeya homónima y designa metalingüísticamente un tipo de respuesta no preferida que supone un acto amenazador de la imagen positiva del interlocutor y que apoya las censuras grupales no organizadas ejercidas en las redes sociales. El objetivo de este trabajo es explicar el significado del sustantivo zasca y su uso en distintos tipos de discursos. El análisis de su uso en la red social Twitter y en los textos periodísticos evidencia tres hechos. Por un lado, muestra una tendencia en determinados contextos a la búsqueda de la acción no preferida. Por otro lado, permite observar el fenómeno comunicativo de los linchamientos en las redes sociales y la censura que conllevan. Por último, zasca actúa como una etiqueta discursiva en lo oral y en lo escrito para caracterizar un fragmento discursivo emitido por otro hablante.
