La Historia de África en España: ¿Hacia nuevos campos de investigación?

Abstract

El campo de investigación de la Historia Contemporánea se encuentra, desde hace algunos años, en un proceso de superación de la Historia eurocéntrica, donde el interés por el pasado de otras sociedades ha crecido significativamente. En esa amplitud del campo geográfico de estudio del historiador, el continente africano ocupa un lugar cada vez mayor. En esta investigación pretendemos realizar una breve revisión de las investigaciones relativas a la Historia de África en nuestro país en las últimas décadas. El propósito final es hacer un balance sobre la situación de la Historia y los Estudios Africanos, su claro carácter interdisciplinar y las temáticas analizadas. Para ello se realizará un análisis en tres etapas: los estudios africanos bajo el régimen franquista y la fundación del Instituto de Estudios Africanos (1945-1983); el resurgir de este ámbito de estudio con los denominados “pioneros” desde finales de la década de 1980 y la situación actual con una generación de nuevos investigadores en la última década.

  • The use, from an academic perspective evidenced by the Altmetric agency indicator referring to aggregations made by the personal bibliographic manager Mendeley, gives us a total of: 1.
  • The use of this contribution in bookmarks, code forks, additions to favorite lists for recurrent reading, as well as general views, indicates that someone is using the publication as a basis for their current work. This may be a notable indicator of future more formal and academic citations. This claim is supported by the result of the "Capture" indicator, which yields a total of: 1 (PlumX).
