Abstract

Los procesos de educacio?n superior tienden a adoptar nuevas metodologi?as para potenciar las actividades de ensen?anza- aprendizaje. El objetivo principal de este documento es identificar el desarrollo de habilidades acade?micas a trave?s de la implementacio?n del proceso de Coaching educativo a un nivel superior. El disen?o de la investigacio?n sigue una metodologi?a experimental de tipo pre-experimental (estudio de caso). La muestra estuvo conformada por un total de 121 estudiantes de la carrera de Administrador Contable de un tecno?logo especi?fico en la ciudad de Guayaquil, Ecuador. El coaching, en general, es un proceso orientado al desarrollo potencial del Coachee; Adema?s, este proceso tambie?n se puede abordar desde otros escenarios, por ejemplo: deporte, trabajo, familia etc. Dentro de las conclusiones del estudio, se contempla que el rol del coaching educativo tiene caracteri?sticas transformadoras en el estudiante, ya que esta? orientado a la mejora de sus habilidades.
