Through comparative analysis, we will reveal similarities and differences in the representation of the kitchen space in these works and delve into the impact of this space on women's identity, self-affirmation, and self-fulfillment. The thesis consists of four chapters: the first one it draws on critical theories of space such as those of Henri Lefebvre, Michel Foucault and Edward W. In the second chapter it presents the biographies of the two authors, as well as their creative backgrounds. The third one analyzes the main contents and narrative characteristics of the two works. In the fourth chapter, a comparative analysis of the kitchen space in both works is conducted, leading to conclusions (Summary)
