The aim of this research was to characterize the habits of consumption, use and recycling of electronic devices in future Primary Education teachers (N=356), and to assess their knowledge regarding the raw materials, their extraction and processing. A questionnaire designed ad hoc was used for data collecting. The results reveal that, in a high percentage, the participants do not recycle the electronic waste adequately, and they do not know basic issues about the extraction and processing of raw materials. A didactic proposal is presented in order to address the impact of technology consumption on the planet.
