Abstract

Recientemente hemos asistido a un considerable aumento del interés popular y editorial por la historia de los imperios en general y la Conquista de América en particular. El presente artículo busca indagar en las relaciones entre imperio e historiografía en las últimas décadas; y, muy específicamente, en todo un tipo de literatura que ha convertido el pasado colonial en un campo de batalla cultural.
