Abstract

This contribution first highlights the importance of mobility situations (exile, immigration, or voluntary travel) today, one of the consequences of which is the ability of individuals to forge a new ontological, cultural, and linguistic identity that switches between 2015, Amroui, Abono Maurin, Laouidat 2020, among others). In this context, the essay entitled Une langue venue d'ailleurs (2011) by the writer of Japanese origin, Akira Mizubayashi, born in 1951, allows us to highlight the aspects in either French or Japanese that are related to language (phonetic, lexical, and syntactic point of view) testifying to the existential evolution of the author. His biculturality and multilingualism evolved throughout his life and proved to be a source of richness and enthusiasm favorable to interculturality despite the feeling of foreignness that always accompanies him.
