Abstract

En el presente artículo se analizan las dinámicas de la fidelidad, personal y grupal, en la corte de Felipe V durante los años de la Guerra de Sucesión. Dichas dinámicas son interpretadas desde las prácticas y los discursos que cada uno de los principales personajes de la corte emprendieron en cuatro sucesos determinantes: las reuniones del Consejo de Estado de 1703 en que se debatían las normas de acceso al monarca, el asunto del banquillo, el «abandono» de la corte de 1706, y las consecuencias de la ruptura de las relaciones con Roma.
