This paper provides a summary of the main characteristics of relative clauses in Ancient Greek, aimed at students in the early stages of university education. In particular, the following issues are addressed: the problem of defining relative clauses, the list of relative connectors, the syntactic and semantic typology of relative clauses, the main concordance deviations between the antecedent or head noun and the relative connector, case attraction, complex relative clauses, and the use of moods. The aim is to offer students an up-to-date, yet concise, overview, as existing materials on the subject are either outdated or, if not, excessively exhaustive.
