Abstract

Modalidad C. Diseño y/o aplicación de un/a proyecto/propuesta de intervención (General); Social cognition is the ability of people to understand themselves and others. Individuals with schizophrenia present difficulties in this area formed by four domains: emotional processing, Theory of Mind (ToM), social perception and attributional style. The purpose is to design an intervention program that combines TAR and SCIT programs to apply it to patients with schizophrenia. Emotion recognition and ToM of the SCIT intervention will be replaced by TAR training and SCIT sessions dedicated to the attributional style will be improved. Thus, positive results are expected in the components of social cognition mentioned, as well as in the personal and social functioning of these individuals (Summary)
