Abstract

Pese a que la historia de África ha sido estudiada en tanto en cuanto la sociedad occidental ha hecho acto de presencia en el continente africano, lo cierto es que la heterogeneidad de sociedades antes de la llegada de los europeos es un hecho irrefutable. Este trabajo pretende destacar, a través del estudio de las religiones, la diversidad cultural previa a la colonización española en el actual territorio de Guinea Ecuatorial y los diferentes sistemas de dominación de género justificados tanto por la existencia de distintas religiones previas a la colonización como por la introducción del cristianismo.
