Abstract

Schizogenic cells of the AV3/INO and ER-SV40 lines display numerous aberrations. These cells produce intracells (endogenous microcells), whose morphological type, mechanism of production and fate are described and discussed. The whole population of the F.R-SV40 line was abnormal during more than 60 serial subcultures, surviving against any prediction. Asynchronous polykaryocytes, containing regions in different phases of the cell cycle, and cells resembling several lower phylogenetic forms are frequently encountered. © 1973 S. Karger AG, Basel.

Impact and social visibility

From the perspective of influence or social adoption, and based on metrics associated with mentions and interactions provided by agencies specializing in calculating the so-called "Alternative or Social Metrics," we can highlight as of 2025-07-25:

  • The use of this contribution in bookmarks, code forks, additions to favorite lists for recurrent reading, as well as general views, indicates that someone is using the publication as a basis for their current work. This may be a notable indicator of future more formal and academic citations. This claim is supported by the result of the "Capture" indicator, which yields a total of: 2 (PlumX).
